Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream (Shang-Hi, Hon-O-Loo-Loo & Buda-Pash)

Hello girlies! :) <3

Today i am going to review the awesome Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Creams that i got from Melbourne. And girls, don't worry! Australis cosmetics does ship worldwide in their official website. So my Malaysian beauties can still purchase these matte lip creams too! :) I went to Melbourne last month  and i bought a few makeup products that i can't find in stores here in Malaysia. But as i mentioned just now, you can actually buy it on their website.

Matte liquid lipsticks are the rage nowadays. I'm sure you girls have seen tonnes of them in Sephora, Stilla, Covo and many more. So me being the makeup lover that i am, i kinda wanna try them and find out the best formula of liquid lipstick out there. So when i saw this at Priceline pharmacy, i knew i had to get it. I picked up 3 shades - Hon-O-Loo-Loo, Buda-Pash and Shang-Hi. Hon-O-Loo-Loo is a super nude peachy shade (almost too light for me). Shang-Hi is definitely my favourite one. It's a bright fuschia colour which at first i thought was a dupe for MAC Flat Out Fabulous. But it's not. MAC Flat Out Fabulous is a lil more purple. Buda-Pash is a super vampy dark maroon-brown shade which looks almost black. It is the darkest lipstick that i own.

These Australis Velourlips were retailed at AUD 9.95 each. It comes with 10ml of product. That is a good amount considering how the Stila Liquid Lipstick only comes with only 3ml. So it's worth the money. It has a grape juice scent in my opinion so i like the scent. It doesn't linger on your lips for too long though. So for those of you that hate scented products, this wouldn't bother you. Each tube comes with a nice sized doe-foot applicator which distributes that products nicely. The consistency of the matte lip cream is definitely on the thicker side. And also it dries to a matte finish super fast. This makes it kinda difficult to apply a second layer to your lips.

However, even though the Australis Velourlips dries to a very matte finish, it is not lng lasting. It only lasts around 3 hours before it starts to flake off your lips. Espeically if you eat something. Even if the food isn't oily. Like i ate ice cream with this lipstick on and it started flaking from the center of my lips. And that is not a nice look. Especially if you are wearing a dark coloured lipstick because it will contrast so much with your natural lip colour. So yeah. You might need to reapply this product like 2 to 3 times a days when you're wearing it. I won't lie, i find reapplying a liquid lipstick to be such a hassle.

Below are the swatches of these Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Creams on my lips.

I give these Australis Velourlips Matte Lip creams a rating of 6/10. Just because i wish they didn't flake off my lips so fast. I mean, who likes flaky lips? A liquid lipstick is supposed to last a long time. However they have a lot of awesome shades to choose from. So that is a plus point. Anyways, you can access their official website by clicking here

Thank you for reading, my beautiful readers!

Review : MAC Studio Conceal & Correct Duo in Rich Yellow/Burnt Coral

Hi everyone!

You girls know how much i love the Bobbi Brown Colour Corrector in Deep Peach. I use it to correct my undereye darkness. This is to avoid making your undereye area to look ashy. Especially if you have those blue-ish darkness underneath it. Anyway, the Bobbi Brown colour correctors are now retailed at RM 103. That is pricey. That's why i was excited when MAC came out with this colour corrector. At least if i buy MAC products, it is more value for money because i can Back2MAC those items and get a free lipstick. So that's why i rather buy MAC than Bobbi Brown.

Anyway, i love this MAC Studio Conceal & Correct Duo in Rich Yellow/Burnt Coral. It comes in a lipgloss-like double ended tube. It comes with a doe foot applicator which makes it easy to place the product under my eyes. This product is retailed at RM 100.

I used the Burnt Coral colour to cancel out the darkness under my eyes. Whereas, the Rich Yellow shade to brighten up that area. These are the swatches on my hand. This duo is perfect for tanned skin girls (NC 45). There are a few other shades too for lighter skintone girls as well as darker skintone girls. It's easy, the darker the skintone, the more concentrated the "orange" and "yellow" shades will be.

Anyways, so below is how i apply the MAC Studio Conceal and Correct Duo. I dot the Burnt Orange shade and then the Rich Yellow shade. I always apply less Rich Yellow just because i will be using a concealer on top of this. Be sure to not apply too much of this product or it will crease. So far, i don't face any creasing with this. Unless i had been wearing this makeup from morning till night time. Then maybe at like 10pm i will see my undereye area creasing.

And i wanted to show you girls how well this cancels out my dark circles. On my left eye, I am showing you how i applied it. And on my right eye, is after i blended out the burnt orange shade and the riche yellow shade. See how my dark circles disappeared? This product is fantastic! :)

So i give the MAC Studio Conceal & Correct Duo in Rich Yellow/Burnt Coral a 10/10 rating. I see nothing wrong with this product at all. What cha waiting for girls? Rush to the nearest MAC store and pick this baby up!

Tille the next post then.

Lots of love from me <3

Australian Makeup Haul 2015

Namaste everyone! :)

Today i wanted to show you girls the makeup items that i got from my recent trip to Melbourne. Hehe. I went to Melbourne in the first week of June and it was such an amazing trip! My family and i had the best of time there. But i have to admit, the weather was toooooo cold. i was freezing half time. I couldn't wait to get indoors everytime i set foot outside my hotel. I did meet my babe, Sara, who lives there. Didn't see her for so long! Finally got to see her. I even met my aunt and her family as well. My aunt married and Australian guy so permenantly lives there now. Anyway, i did a lot of shopping at Priceline Pharmacy (it's the Aussie version of Watsons) and also Myers.

I did spend quite a lot there. Thank god for a generous daddy. I have the best father in the world. You guys probably knew that already anyway. HAHA. So these are all the products that i got. By the way, the currency used in this post is in AUD. I grabbed whatever items that i couldn't find in Malaysia. those that can be found in Malaysia, i didn't even look at.

1) Chi Chi Glamorous Mattes Eye Shadow Palette - AUD 22.95

I got this eyeshadow palette because i've heard YouTube gurus, Shaaanxo and Chloe Morello raves about them! So when i spotted Chi Chi cosmetics at Myers Mall, i knew i had to get at least one of their eyeshadow palettes. So i picked up the matte eyeshadow palette. I haven't used this yet. But i have high hopes for it. Hehe.

2) Chi Chi Viva La Diva Matte Lipstick in Drop Dead Gorgeous - AUD 18.95

Chi Chi cosmetics have soooo many lip products! They have these matte La Diva lipsticks and also the creamy matte liquid lipsticks. I didn't get the liquid lipsticks because they where slightly tacky as they do not dry completely matte. Hence, why i got this Drop Dead Gorgeous lipstick. My sister was looking around these lipsticks too and she ended up buying the same lipstick as me just coz this colour is just the most beautiful shade of mauve-y pink!

3) Chi Chi 3 In 1 Eye Concealer in Tanned

I got this concealer because i was just curious. And the formula of this concealer feels really light on the skin. So i think it might make a great undereye concealer. Plus it was inexpensive as well. SO yay! :) This is the last product that i got from Myers and Chi Chi cosmetics. The rest are from Priceline Australia.

4) Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 103 - AUD 12.95

I bought this lipstick because a Youtuber called Arshia was raving about this. According to her this lipstick would be a wearable everyday pink lipstick for Indian girls. Anybody with medium to dark skintone will like this lipstick i guess. Hehe. But it isn't a matte lipstick girls. I feels like a MAC Cremesheen lipstick. SO if you're not into super glossy lipsticks, you wouldn't like this one.

5) Maybelline Color Drama in #630 Nude Perfection - AUD 9.95

When i saw this, i was like YASSSS. I have to get it. Even in the US, apparently these lip pencils are hard to find yo! Plus, these lip pencil is the most gorgeous nude colour ever. I wished that i actually got more colours. Oh well. I'm going to New Zealand at the end of the year. i'll probably pick up a few colours there. Hehe.

6) Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in #400 Natural Beige - AUD 14.95

Many Youtubers raved about this foundation being awesome for those with oily skin. And hello, i am practically the Queen of Oily Faces. So of course i had to buy this foundation. They had very few colour shades though. This is the darkest colour.

7) Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Creams in Buda-Pash, Hono-Lolo & Shang-Hi - AUD 9.95

I wanted to try some nice Australian makeup. So i was glad when Australis had liquid lipsticks. I always feel that you can't go wrong with getting lip products. Compared to getting powders or foundations or powders. So whenever i wanna try a new brand, i'll definitely try their lip products first. Separate review on these matte lip creams will be up on my blog soon.

8) Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - AUD 12.99

It's funny how i decided to buy this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I was checking out the Maybelline counter when 2 Australian girls walked into Priceline and one of the girl was telling her friend how much she loved the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water because "It takes everything off". So after they left, i took a long at the cleansing water and decided to purchase it just to try out how it was. I've used this already and boy, that girl was right! This is officially the best makeup remover that i've ever used! This product is on my repurchase list too. I have to buy it somehow.

9) Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in #35 Deep - AUD 14.95

This i bought because EVERY makeup guru on YouTube loves it and claims that it is the best concealer ever. So i wanna test and see if it is any good. Stay tuned, peeps! ;)

10) Australis Primer The Original - AUD 13.95

Well, i wanted to try this Australian brand foundation primer since i don't have a lot of primers anyway. I only have the Benefit POREfessional. That's the one and only primer that i have. I'm not one to collect primers. So i thought why not just get one? Plus, it wasn't expensive.

11) Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara in Very Black - AUD 12.95

This is only one item that is very popular in the makeup world of YouTube. Almost all beauty gurus love this mascara. I've always wanted to try it. I thought only when i go visit USA (I don't know when that day will come) then i'll finally be able to buy this mascara. So imagine my surprise when i saw this mascar at Priceline? i snatched it up and paid it. With a big fat happy smile. Lol.

12) Models Prerfer Brush in MP20 Large Eyeshadow and MPA102 Airbrush Contour - AUD 12.99 & AUD 18.99

These brushes are cheap! I had to buy a few. I picked up 2 of them. One for my eyeshadow and another one for contouring my cheeks. They are of amazing quality. The brushes are so soft and smooth! Omg, So worth the money, you guys! :)

So that's all of the makeup products that i got while i was in Melbourne Australia. Melbourne is such a beautiful pace. I feel that everybody should visit there at least once in their lifetime. I can't wait for my next holiday at the end of the year to New Zealand! That is gonna be epic too. So till the next post then girls.

I love you all :)

Review : Covo Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluids (Magical, Spellbinder & Marshmallow)

Hello my sweethearts! :)

Today i have a very lovely post for you girls. I wanna talk about the Covo Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluids! I only discovered Covo Cosmetics this year when they opened a new branch at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. At that time, there was a promotion on their liquid lipsticks. You buy 3 Covo Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluids for RM 99. And i was like hell yeah, i wanna get those! Plus, i love matte liquid lipsticks. It's in trend now and i have to say, the Covo ones are amazing. I got 3 shades; Magical, Spellbinder and Marshmallow.

Magical is a true red colour. It's the most perfect red colour in my opinion. It looks almost like MAC Ruby Woo lipstick. I got this shade because i don't have a liquid lipstick in the colour red.

The next shade that i got is Spellbinder. Spellbinder is a typical me-shade. You guys know that i look my bright fuchsia pinks! I got this shade thinking that it will be a dupe for MAC Flat Out Fabulous but it's not. It's doesn't have that berry hint that MAC Flat Out Fabulous has. Regardless, it is still a gorgeous shade.

The next shade is the lightest shade in the range. It's called Marshmallow. Marshmallow is a bright peachy pink shade. I personally think this is the most wearable shade for everyday.

Especially if you're the type of girl that prefers neutral colours. I would so rock a bright pink or red lipstick any day of the week. So everything is wearable for me. Hahaa. Anyways, these are the shades swatched on my hand. Aren't they just so gorgeous?

Okay, on to the packaging. The packaging of these Covo Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluids are awesome! Why is it awesome? Because it comes with a freaking mirror! Like how considerate is that? I usually have to use my iPhone front camera whenever i want to retouch my lips when i'm out. Now with this, boy, i don't need to whip out my phone for that. And it comes with a nice sized doe-foot applicator. I like that.

The consistency of the product is light and thin yet it is super pigmented. You don't need to apply a second layer to get that opaque coverage on your lips. Plus, these are not drying at all. They dry to a very matte finish on your lips but they don't dry your lips out. I can actually use them without a lip balm, believe it or not. Apparently they contain some kind of Vitamin E that keeps your lips hydrated. These Covo Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluids are long lasting as well. I can wear it the whole day without needing to reapply it. It's kind of like wearing the MAC Retro Mattes lipsticks. Hehee.

I have to say, these are pretty good lip products. I give the Covo Kiss-Proof Matte Lip Fluids a 10/10 just because it is perfect to me and i don't see any flaws. Have you girls tried this liquid lipstick before? If yes, let me know your thoughts on them too!

I love you all <3

Bath & Body Works ~ Velvet Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist

Ola girls! :)

I'm glad to be back here and doing more and more posts for you all! It's been literally so long since i posted regularly on my blog thanks to all the stuff that has been happening in my life. Don't get me wrong. All the stuff that has been happening in my life is positive, amazing stuff! I'm at a happy place right now. So yeah. Hehe. But i promise that i won't neglect my blog. So no worries kay? LOL. Anyway, today i have a deliciously, tempting body mist to talk about. It's from Bath & Body Works. Yes, we do have Bath & Body Works in Malaysia. There is one at The Curve and also another one at Nu Sentral. I went to Nu Sentral last week, i think. And i got a few stuff from there since they were havig this amazing sale.

So me being me, i had to buy some fragrance. You guys know that i'm a sucker for body mist. I mean, come on. I own like 6 bottles of the Victoria's Secret body mist. Hehe. Anyway, i was walking around the store when i spotted a few body mist. They had scents like Madagascar Vanilla and all that. But since i own a lot of Vanilla and coconut scented mists (hello, Victoria's Secret?) i thought that today i won't get my usual vanilla and coconut scented mists. So i told the salesgirl to recomend me a sweet scented mist that is not vanilla or coconut. The girl came over with the Velvet Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist. I took one sniff of it and i was sold.

The Velvet Sugar Fine Fragrance mist is retailed at RM 55. It comes in a huge bottle of 236ml/8 fl oz. Velvet Sugar smells like sugary goodness. It doesn't smell like coconut or vanilla at all. The salesgirl told me that when you sniff this mist, the thing that comes to your mind is sugar. And i gotta agree with her. It's a very sugar scented mist. If you're the kind of girl that loves the Victoria's Secret Amber Romance or Britney Spears' Fantasy perfume, you'll LOVE this body mist. It is the best fragrance mist you'll ever have. Ever since i got this mist, i've been using this non-stop. Sometimes i feel bad for not using my all time favourite VS Coconut Passion. But what can i say, i'm obsessed with the Velvet Sugar for now.

The packaging of the Velvet Sugar is cute as well. It comes in a red plastic bottle with a nozzle spray. The mist doesn't leak so it's sturdy enough to be packed in your suitcase for traveling. So that's great. The scent does last me a long time. I would say it lasts me up to 4 hours. That's good for a body mist.

Anyway, i give the Velvet Sugar a 10/10 rating because i love it and it doesn't have any flaws at all. It's perfect! Go check it out girls! Hopefully the sale is still on.

Thank you for reading!

Lovisa + Forever 21 Jewelry Haul :)

Hello everyone! :)

Okay, i know that i've been MIA for the longest of time. It's just that i had so many things to do this month. I had just started working at a new place. I just came back from my Melbourne trip and also my blog has a litlle malfunction earlier this month. I accidentally deleted my blog pictures album in my Google Plus account. I had no idea that it was linked to the blog. So yeah. My older posts now are picture-less. Therefore, i am trying my best to re-upload them ASAP. But i have over 200 posts. It's definitely gonna take some time. So please bare with me. Thank you for understanding as well. Anyways, without further ado, i did some jewelry shopping before my Melbourne Trip. I basically got some jewelry pieces from Lovisa and Forever 21.

My first purchase from F21 is these beautiful orange and gold drop earrings. Disclaimer, i really really LOVEEE drop earrings. I think it's classy and it can dress up any outfit. I just like the look of that. Hehe. I picked up this earrings coz i don't own anything like this. I do have another orange earrings but those look more ethnic. These earrings just look super modern and nice. I can totally see myself using this earrings with my red dress. If i am not mistaken, it was only RM 15.

Next is this gorgeous long gold chain with a key pendant. Let me tell you something. Recently, i've been lovin' the whole long, oversized t-shirts with leggings. Leggings are sooo comfortable. You know sometimes how skinny jeans can be a lil uncomfortable? Yup, i always feel like that after work or later at night when i just wanna go to the grocery shop with no makeup on. Anyways, whenever you're wearing oversized t-shirts, it is always nice to pair it with a long necklace! It makes your outfit look put together. Plus you'll look super fashionable. AND this necklace was only RM 9. HOW AWESOME IS THAT? Seriously, i am shocked at myself for not buying another 3. lol.

The 3rd purchase is something that i have been wanting since forever! A multi layered gold necklace. The minute i saw this necklace, i was like "yep, i'm getting this." This is gorgeous! I wore this to work one day and my colleagues were all over this necklace. Like for real. It glams up any outfit! You can wear this with your clubbing dresses, or with a nice low cut neckline blouse, or even with a cute tube top! Just make sure you go simple on the earrings though. These were retailed at RM 19. Those are the 3 items that i got from Forever 21.

Now onto Lovisa. Most of the time, i only buy Lovisa items during the sale. Let's be real, Lovisa ain't cheap! Especially in Malaysia. In Australia it may be cheap. But it's expensive here. So i buy it during the sale. Unless i really really do like it. Anyways, the first item that i got from Lovisa is this beautiful dark blue drop earrings. These earrings can be heavy but it's so pretty. So it's worth it. Maybe don't wear it everyday. Wearing it occsionally should be fine. The price of the earrings was only RM 8 after the crazy sale they had!

Next are these beautiful red earrings. I don't own any red earrings, Hence, why i picked up this earrings. I think the design is super stylish and the colour is to die for. Plus, it was only RM 15. I can see myself using this earrings with my black rompers for a night out with my girls or date night with the bf.

Last but not least, are these hoop earrings. I think this earrings look so fun and flirty. I haven't bought any nice hoop earrings in ages. Therefore, i had to get it. Besides that, look at that crystal ball? isn't that just gorgeous?? This is also one of those earrings that when i wear, i get alot of compliments. I think mainly because it is unique. I love the colour of it too. It's like a mauvey-rose gold. This was RM 8. Hehee.

And that's all you girls! Thank you for your patience. I promise i'll be doing more posts in the month of July kay? This month has been crazy.

Lot of love from me <3
