New Clinique Haul :)

Hello girls :)

Today i have a Clinique haul for you all. I recently went to get some skincare products from Clinique with my mum. And i picked up a few products. I'm gonna make this post short and sweet because i have a lot of packing to do for my upcoming Aussie trip. So yeah. Hope you girls like it! So these are the few items that i got.

1) Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Defense SPF 45

So i recently ran out of my L'Oreal sunscreen. That's why when i saw that Clinique had introduced a new product in their "Even Better" range, i know it had to pick it up. That product is the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Defense. It works as a sunscreen and a dark spot corrector as well. I love the 2-in-1 combination very much. Plus, to me, SPF 45 is suffient for everyday usage as a person that works in an office. It was retailed at RM 148.

2) Clinique All About Eyes

This is the BEST eye cream in the world. I bought it after trying out the sample. And omg, it is the best eye cream ever. It successfully lightened my dark circles quite a bit. I use this all the time. Even before applying my makeup when i go to work. Plus, it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals and it is very gentle. I think all girls need this in their lives. It is retailed at RM 148.

3) Clinique Even Better Brightening Moisture Mask

This is one of Clinique's new products too. The moisture mask in the "Even Better" range. You could already tell how much i like this range right? It is the best in my opinion. So yeah, i got this mask to try it out. And i don't have a moisturizing mask. I only have clay masks. This mask was retailed at RM 150.

4) Clinique Anti - Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup

This is another product that i wanted to try. My all-time favourite Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Makeup has finally finished and i wanted to try another foundation from Clinique since the Pore Refining one was really really good. It was like using skincare on my face and not makeup. Plus, it's awesome how Clinique has a large range of shades to choose from. Plus, i always wanna take care of my face and prevent any pimples from emerging. So the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup sounds like the perfect foundation for me! It retailed for RM 132.

That's all the products that i bought. Because i bought so many products, the sales assistant gave me a few gifts and samples to try out.

Free Gifts/Samples :-

1) Clinique Moisture Surge Intense in 15ml

2) Clinique Rinse - Off Foaming Cleanser Mousse

3) Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream in Natural Fair

4) Clinique Lash Power Mascara in #01 Black Onyx

So that's all for today, you girls. You can always purchase all these products in any Clinique counters and also through their website, here.

Btw, be sure to check out my Daytime Skincare Routine as well as my Night Time Skincare Routine.

Till the next post then!

Foodie Food Food ~ LOHA Cafe :)

Hello everyone!

Last week, my colleagues and i went to this really nice cafe at Subang Jaya. This cafe is called Loha Cafe. It is a new place that sells Western and Japanese fusion food. That's so one-of-a-kind right? It is opened at 8am to 8pm. The ambience of this cafe is so relaxing and calm - perfect if you want to unwind after a long day at work. Isn't that cosy? Just look at the nice warm lighting!

Loha Cafe also has a nice little cozy corner where they provide sofas for you to seat and relax and be comfortable. There are some magazines that you can read too while waiting for you food to arrive.

Another thing about Loha Cafe that i like is that their prices of food is super reasonable. Nowadays, in KL and Selangor, food prices are so damn expensive. Especially if you are going to a cafe. Loha Cafe's Carbonara is RM 15.90. Usually in cafes, a pasta dish would be RM 20 ++. That's why if you are looking for an inexpensive place to go with your friends next time, Loha Cafe would be the perfect place to go.

These are the dishes that my colleagues and i ordered. We seriously had a pig out day, i tell you. I feel so fat just thinking of all the food that we ate that day. But what can i do? They were so delicious, i couldn't resist it. By the way, the drinks that are served in this cafe are one-of-a-kind. Where else can you get a Coffee Soda drink? :D Lol.

My favourite drink is the Soda Gembira and also the Iced Chocolate Mint. I didn't really fancy the Iced Coffee Soda because i don't drink coffee like at all. Even at Starbucks, i order the Green Tea frap or the Signature Hot Chocolate. Anyways, the prices of the drinks are listed down below.

Iced Chocolate Mint - RM 12
Mocha - RM 11
Soda Gembira - (Sorry, i forgot the price! Yikes!)
Iced Coffee Soda - RM 10

Next is the food. We ordered some snacks to have as our appetizers. It is called Takoyaki. And boy, this was so delicious! Just looking at the picture makes me drool! Plus, the Takoyaki was cheap too. You get 6 pieces for only RM 7.

We also ordered the Mushroom soup. This is one of the best mushroom soups that i have ever tasted. Wanna know why? Because it doesn't taste like that store-bought creamy mushroom soup in a can. It actually taste like real homemade mushroom soup. Plus, eating it with the garlic bread is just heavenly. This mushroom soup is RM 8.90. Don't worry, the portions at Loha Cafe are all huge.

The Loha Brunch Combo FX is so tasty and it comes with a lot of varieties. For those big eaters, this meal will be super satisfying for you guys. The pork bacon is so crispy and delicious. The hash brown is cooked to perfection and of course the eggs! The eggs are so soft and fluffy! They not only look good, but tastes good too. Loha Brunch Combo FX is RM 19.90.

Onto the main courses. We only ordered 3 main course because one of my colleagues had the Loha Brunch Combo FX as her main course. So the rest of us got the Aglio Olio pasta, Pasta Carbonara and the Chicken Katsu Don. Details as below.

I particularly LOVE the pasta carbonara. It is so scrumptious. It's so hard to find a yummy carbonara that you won't get sick off  while eating it. And this carbonara won't make you feel like that. In fact, it makes you want more! :) For people who love rice, the Chicken Katsu Don is up your alley. The chicken portion comes in a good size and the rice is delicious.

For dessert, we decided to order the Banana Berries Pancake with Ice Cream. This is the the bomb.com. It is sooo sinfully yummy! It is fattening but no harm in pigging out once in awhile right? And technically bananas and strawberries are HEALTHY. Hehe. This dish is priced at RM 12.90. I like how they placed the ice cream cone on top of the ice cream. As though the ice cream was smashed into the plate. So creative!

Anyways, this is a picture of me and my wonderful colleagues. I am leaving my current job by the way. Gonna miss them so much!

Before i end this post, Loha Cafe has decided to give all my readers a discount of 10% off all their beverages! This discount is valid till the end of June. You just need to mention 'PrettyPinkPolly10' or 'PriyaM10' to enjoy the 10 % off all their drinks. What are you waiting for, peeps? Go enjoy yourself by getting their yummy signature drink called Soda Gembira! :)

Till the next post then! I love you all :)

Review : Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadows in Celery & Take Me

Namaste Girlies! <3

How are my babes doing? I am currently back in JB with my family. I got all my winter clothes ready as well. I can't wait to go to Melbourne! I'll surely do a winter clothes haul for you all to check out. Who knows you might be interested in getting some winter clothes for your holidays too, right? So look out for that post! For today, i will be reviewing my Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadows in Celery and Take Me. I got these shadows 2 months ago i think. I've been using it for awhile and i love it!

So Sephora was having a clearance sale when i spotted these Bare Minerals Eyeshadows. The prices of the eyeshadows were reduced to RM 29 if i'm not mistaken. Obviously i had to grab it. I mean, it's a steal! I grabbed 2 colours - Celery and Take Me. Celery is a beautiful shimmery olive green eyeshadow and Take Me is a baby pink with lilac shimmers in it. Both colours are up my alley. And plus i love these shimmery shades. I think it's so easy to wear them. All you need to do is just apply them all over your eyelids and you are done!

These Bare Minerals eyeshadows are so beautiful, that you would actually wear them on their own. They come in little tiny loose powder - like container. It looks like a loose powder packaging except that they are tiny. On the top lid, the words Bare Minerals are imprinted on. So i really like the packaging. You gotta use your own brushes though for these eyeshadows. They are still available in Sephora. Below is a swatch of both the eyeshadows on my hand.

The eyeshadow Celery looks very sheer. But trust me, it's not. I dunno why the camera didn't capture the true colour of the eyeshadow. It is a gorgeous eyesahdow. Between the 2 eyeshadows, i like Celery better. I can literally just apply it on my eyelids without any other eyeshadow and it will still look stunning. I used it for work one day, and my colleagues were all complimenting my eye look.

The Take Me eyeshadow is also very pretty if you're into those pinky colours. And if you are really fair, you will look really dainty with this eyeshadow. Even if you have medium skintone, it will look nice on you. If you have dark skin, the eyeshadow might look "white" on you since the pink colour is very pale. That's why. But if you like that look, then rock it girl! :)

I usually use the BH Cosmetics Polka Dots brush set when i'm using these eyeshadows. They do have a bit of fallouts because (DUH) they are loose eyeshadows. So they will have a little bit of fallout. nothing horrible though. All you need to do, is take a fluffy brush and sweep it off your face. Done :) The pigmentation of these Bare Minerals loose Eyeshadows are amazing. They are very pigmented. You don't even need an eyeshadow primer to make it look intense. They are that amazing. But of course, adding a primer will make the eyeshadows pop even more.

The Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadow lasts a long time on my eyelids. But it did crease at the end of the day when i came back from work. But i think that happened because i wasn't using a primer whatsoever. So keep in mind that if you have oily eyelids and you want to prevent creasing of the eyeshadows, please use a primer. And the best primer to use is this Nars Pro Prime Eyeshadow base.

Anyways, this is the eye look that i wore at work the other day using the Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadow in Celery. Look at how beautiful the eyeshadow looks! Gosh, i can't get over how nice and sparkly it looks :)

Andddd a full picture of my makeup that day. What are your thoughts on these Bare Minerals Loose Eyeshadows? Do let me know.

Till the next post then. Take care, girls!

I love you all <3

Review : MAC Relentlessly Red Lipstick

Hello everyone! :)

I'm back again with another lipstick review. LOL. And it's another bright lipstick. I told you i'm into bright lipsticks nowadays. Even to work, i will be using this MAC Relentlessly Red. Yes, this is the lipstick that i will be reviewing. I think I've posted so many pictures of me using this lipstick before on my Facebook and Instagram account. I dunno why this lipstick makes me feel like taking a selfie. I guess i feel more photogenic whenever i wear MAC Relentlessly Red lipstick. It photographs very beautifully.

MAC Relentlessly Red lipstick is from the Retro Matte collection. However, now it is in the permanent line of the MAC Lipsticks. So no worries, girls. This lipstick will be available at MAC stores all the time. It comes in a retro matte finish. That means it is similar to the MAC Ruby Woo lipstick. You know how MAC Ruby Woo can be a lil drying? Yes, it's like that. But i don't mind that because i always apply lip balm on my lips before using any lipsticks. So if you have dry lips but you still wanna buy this lipstick, then definitely use a lip balm underneath your lipstick.

MAC Relentlessly Red retails at the usual RM 74. It is a bright red with slight hints of pink to it. It's definitely a more warm tone lipstick. It can be a fun switch up if you're already bored of those classic red lipsticks out there. I love MAC Relentlessly Red because i think it is such a fun coloured lipstick. It reminds me of summer. Those of you living at places where you experience all 4 seasons, you might wanna pick up this lipstick for the summertime. I use this lipstick all year around. I even use it for work when i'm feeling happy and quirky that day. Here's a swatch of MAC Relentlessly Red on my hands.

Since MAC Relentlessly Red has a retro matte finish, it lasts all day long. I kid you not. I don't even need to touch up after having sushi for lunch. I'm serious, i just had sushi with my mum and brother and my lipstick is still there. It won't budge. I have even worn this lipstick for more than 10 hours and it still looks good. I do line my lips first with a lip liner just to keep the lipstick looking more neater, Coz sometimes when you are wearing a bright coloured lipstick, you want the outline of your lips to look nice and crisp. Below is a closeup picture of my lips with MAC Relentlessly Red.

Like any other MAC lipsticks, MAC Relentlessly Red lipstick has that nice signature vanilla scent to it. I usually rock this lipstick with just a nice winged out eyeliner look. I don't really bother much with the blush and eyeshadows. Since the lipstick itself is already kinda loud. But of course, if you are heading out for a night out or clubbing with your friends, then fell free to go all out with your look. I like it when girls are adventurous with their makeup. After all, makeup is a way to express yourself. And a random picture of me posing for the camera in my current favourite bright lipstick!

Anyways, on another note, be kind to each other, girls. Nobody likes to be friends with a bitchy person. And i strongly feel that girls need to learn how to empower each other. Not to bitch and back-stab each other. The catfights gotta stop.

Lot of love from me! <3

My Day Time Skincare Routine :)

Ola peeps! :)

Since i have already shown you girls my Night Time Skincare routine, now as promised, i am going to show you all what i do in the morning. What creams do i apply on my face. I use makeup to work everyday. As in Monday to Friday. Which pretty much means ALMOST the whole week. I wear makeup to work because i enjoy the process of putting on makeup everyday on my face. I think it's such a fun process of deciding what lipstick to wear or do i feel like wearing an eyeshadow today? You know, it's really fun.

So before putting on my makeup, i do have a skincare routine that i follow everyday. I basically just use like 4 items excluding the facial cleanser that i use. Without furthe ado, let's jump right in! :)

1. Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser

Firstly, when i wake up in the morning, i wash my face with the Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser. I love this cleanser just because it feels gentle on my skin. It doesn't dry out my skin nor will it leave any residue on my face. It's basically the perfect cleanser for me. It is intended for normal skin though. Haha.

2. Clinique All About The Eyes Cream

After that, i pat my face dry. Then i apply my Clinique All About The Eyes cream. It's always better to apply your eye cream first for any moisturizers because your eye cream is created to be absorbed by the skin easier. Hence, if you apply your moisturizers (which are usually thick and heavy) first, the eye cream would not be able to be absorbed into the skin in your eye area easily. Hence, use your eye cream first. This Clinique All About The Eyes cream is the best eye cream that i've ever used. It has significantly reduced the dark circles around my eyes and also the fine lines too. Although it is kinda pricey (RM 148 for 15ml), it is totally worth it. Especially if you have dark circles under your eyes.

3. Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum

After the eye cream, i apply the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum on my face as a base for my foundation and also to cover up my pores. I feel like this serum is a 2-in-1 for me because it covers up my pores and works as a makeup base. Plus, it actually minimizes the pores on my face. So it's like an awesome multipurpose cream. The consistency of this cream is kinda thick. The texture is quite dense because it is supposed to fill up your pores. I'm finishing up the sample of this product first before purchasing the full size bottle.

4. Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Defense SPF 45

And then after all that, i move on to sun protection. I always use my sunscreen everyday. Without fail. Except during the night time. Just because there is no sun and i don't find it necessary to wear it at night. But during the day, it is a must. Ain't nobody wants to be sunburnt. So yeah. I use the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Defense SPF 45. This isn't a sunscreen perse. But it does have a good amount of SPF for a cream. So i like to use it as my daily sunscreen protection. I bought the shade sheer which is the white coloured one. They also had a skintone shade, but it was both gonna dry up to a colourless finish on the skin anyways. This product retailed at RM 148 too.

5. Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm in a tin

Lastly, i need to hydrate my lips. At night i like to use the Nivea Lip balm. But during the day, i don't want a lip balm that is greasy just because i am going to put on a lipstick on top of that. Therefore, i use the Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip balm. This lip balm isn't greasy at all. In fact, when you put it on your lips, it doesn't even look shiny or greasy. But it does keep your lips well moisturized and prepped up your the lipstick application. I also like the fact that the Burt's Bees Beeswax has a minty, tingling feeling on the lips. Finally, after all these are on my face and lips, i can start putting on my makeup as per usual.

And that is all that i do in the morning. It's a very simple skincare routine during the day time. I hope that you girls enjoyed it. I'll be back with another post soon. Till the next post then!

XOXO
