Review : Wet & Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette - Comfort Zone

Hello peeps!

Today i have another awesome drugstore product to share with you all. It's from Wet & Wild and it's their Wet & Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow in Comfort Zone. So this eyeshadow palette retails for RM 45.90 if i'm not mistaken. Purchasing online through the Colour Cosmetics Malaysia website is definitely much cheaper though.

Anyways, i've been lovin' this Wet & Wild Comfort Zone palette. The colours are gorgeous. They are mostly neutral coloured shadows with that hint of olive, green colours. And i love olive based eyeshadow. That colours are way up my alley. I like browns and golds because of course you can use that on a daily basis and it compliments any Indian outfits. The size of this palette is also huge. It may look small in the picture but are actually bigger than the palm of my hand.

This palette consists of only shimmery eyeshadows. Some eyeshadows are also glittery. I would have liked it EVEN more if they had some matte shadows as well. But oh well. The eyeshadows here are already awesome as it is. These eyeshadows are very pigmented and the colour payoff is very good. They also have the words - browbone, eyelid, crease and definer - on the eyeshadow itself as a guide for people who aren't so pro in makeup. I like that. I think it's very helpful for many people out there.

My favourite eyeshadow out of all the eyeshadows in this palette has to be the definer shade on the right. It is the perfect dupe for MAC Club eyeshadow. It is the most gorgeous shade of brown and teal. It is one of those beautiful dual chrome eyeshadows. I also like the dark brown definer shade in this palette. Just coz it is so difficult to find a super pigmented dark brown eyeshadow to create a smokey eye effect. I always use this eyeshadow whenever i wanna create a nice dark brown smokey eye look.

Anyways, i also like the fact that this palette comes with a tiny brush and also a sponge applicator. The sponge tip applicator doesn't seem to last long though. Look at how mine is starting to crumble. Lol. Cant complain though. Since the price of this palette is really cheap. Even the packaging of this eyeshadow isn't exactly the best. It feels kinda plasticky but for the price and the great quality of the eyeshadows, it is worth it.

Below are the swatches of the eyeshadows on my arm. Look at how pigmented the eyeshadows are? Seriously girls, save your money and get these Wet & Wild eyeshadow palettes. It is more value for money than buying one single eyeshadow from MAC.

Close up of the left side of the palette. The neutral brown eyeshadows.

And this is the right side of the palette. All the olive green eyeshadows.

This is the first look that i created with this palette. As you guys might have already known, this is the look i was sporting for Valentine's Day this year. Click here for more information on that.

And this is the second look. I created a brown smokey eye look.

And that's all for today, peeps! Till another post then. All Wet & Wild products can be purchased in all the Sasa stores in Malaysia.

Lots of love from me <3

XOXO
